My Travel Guide to Paris

Off the Beaten Path:

Anahi – Argentinian Steakhouse - best meal of my life!

Rue de Claire - farmers market

Frenchie To Go + several other drink & eat locations nearby all by the same owner.

Chez Ferdinand – A locals favorite. Order the steak tartare! This area is the Latin Quarter and great for dining, shopping, & nightlife for the adult crowd.

Hotel Costes – Very cool ambiance & atmosphere. Stop in here for some frites & cocktails. Near the Louvre.

G.detou – The best baking supply store in Paris.

Merci - Housewares, apparel, and other cute pick ups (near the Picasso Musuem) if you are wandering that area.

Moor Paris - Flower & antiquities shop for interesting unique finds.

Empreintes - The French Craft Concept Store - ceramics, furniture, art, and jewlery made locally.

Sights to not miss:

The Louvre - Key things to see in this museum: Mona Lisa, (look at the painting opposite of it as that one I think is way more compelling), Angel wings, Athens statue, some monet here but focus on viewing Monet at the Musee de Orsay.

Musee De Orsay museum - all the impressionists paintings start on the 5th (top floor?) & spend the most time there reveling in Edgar Degas & Monet :)

Don’t miss the Van Gogh section on the 2nd level as well! Its small exhibit but not to miss!

Musee Rodin- Thinker Statue is here in the courtyard, never a line.

Pantheon - I really liked this place! Very interesting people are buried here!
